Her current day job is serving as an art resource teacher and technical guru for the department. She discovered Zentangle quite by accident on the internet. As a life-long doodler and lover of drawing, Zentangle was the flame to her artistic moth. She has presented the method at four New Mexico art education conferences and at two national art education conferences. Since the mid-1980s I have taught, trained and facilitated groups of up to a 100 in corporate, academic (to Masters level), charitable and private environments. My background is psychology and education and I am a coach, therapist and teacher who focusses on personal and professional development, with expertise in developing resilience, creativity and enterprise. I left corporate work in 1998n to set up my own consultancy, took teaching qualifications, and have since taught leadership, management and team development, as well as stress management and relaxation, meditation, The Artist’s Way, and then Zentangle – which is now the only thing I teach. I am often amazed by where my journey has taken me!! I now focus on teaching Zentangle to small groups of students who return to learn every month in my own studio - some of them have returned for nearly 3 years now. I also coach 1:1 and research in the fields of well-being, mindfulness and Zentangle.

After graduating from New College, Satasota , Florida with an Area of Concentration in Drawing and Print Making, I worked for a number of years in the printing industry doing everything from running a printing press to graphic design. In 1982 I started my own freelance graphic design business and ran that until I retired. Throughout my career I have practiced many artforms but I have particular- ly enjoyed creating woodcuts and fused glass. I was introduced to Zentangle in January 2013 and became a CZT in June of 2014. I am grateful that my life journey has lead me to Zentangle and I find it fulfilling to share my knowledge with others.
Molly Hollibaugh, CZTI was born in the small town of Whitinsville, Massachusetts and raised by very creative parents. My home doubled as a successful graphic arts business, a meeting place, a place of reinvention, and an artist's wonderland. This was my normal. Little did I know how lucky I was to be nurtured and stimulated by such artistry.
I always knew that I would pursue both a life and career in the arts. After high school I studied furniture design at the Rhode Island School of Design and jewelry and metals at a small school in Mexico. I started and ran a jewelry design and fabrication business from 2004 until 2010. After giving birth to my second child I knew it was time to switch gears. In early 2011 I excitedly accept the offer to become Product Manager at Zentangle, Inc. Today I juggle being a stay at home mom, teaching Zentangle and working at Zentangle, Inc. and I love every minute of it. |
