Getting to Newport!
By Air
The closest airport is T.F. Green in Providence. From there its just a 30 minute highway drive. In New England we're used to the weather and if luck brings snow our way the roads are cleared quickly! Uber is approximately $40 to Newport.

By Train or Bus
Amtrack and Peter Pan travel to Providence and from their you can take an Uber for about $40. Amtrak also goes to West Kingston Rhode Island and Uber connection from there is about $30.

Driving from T.F. Green Airport – Warwick, RI
Take Route 95 to Route 4 (the exit for which will be to the left). Route 4 will turn into Route 1. Take the Route 138 East exit and follow 138 East over the Jamestown and Newport Bridges ($4 toll). At the end of the ramp, take a right. Take another right at the second set of lights, which is America’s Cup Avenue. The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina is approximately half a mile down on the right.
Driving from Boston/New Hampshire
Take Route 93 South to Route 24 South. Route 93 will run into Route 24. Follow Route 24 through Brockton and Fall River (avoid Route 95 South to Providence). Route 24 will run into Route 114 South in Newport. Route 114 South will turn into Broadway. Follow 114 and later Broadway until you can go no further. Take a left onto Thames Street (a one way) for 1/4 mile, bear right, and when you get to the set of lights, you will see The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina across the street on your right.
Driving from Connecticut/New York
Follow Route 95 North to 138 East (Rhode Island exit 3A). Follow the signs for Newport. Follow Route 138 for approximately 15 miles (Route 138 East will overlap Route 1 North for a short while). Continue over the Jamestown and Newport Bridges ($4 toll). Take the first ramp off the bridge. At the end of the ramp take a right. At the second set of lights take another right. This is America’s Cup Avenue. The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina is approximately half a mile down on the right.

Green "Providence" Airport/Warwick, RI – 30-minute drive), railroad (Amtrak services West Kingston, RI & Providence, RI – 20-minute and 40-minute taxi connection respectively), or bus service (Newport Gateway Visitor Center – 5-minute walk).
